Remarkable; Your attitude, grit and consistent action. I love this part - "but I canβt change that. I can only do my best to take care of the things that are in my control. I know that all of those calendar items are working to keep me as healthy as I can be and each one gives me either joy, hope, community, optimism or a combination of all four." I am grateful for your vacation, your current medical regime and that you have meditated with me for about 2 years now. You are right- You are being the best you can be and it inspires us all to do the same. Love, Cindi - The happiest 45th birthday to you!
Since it's your first MRI -- in case no one has warned you about it, they're SO LOUD! I feel like everyone knows about the claustrophobia/small spaces aspect of it, but nobody told me that basically it would sound like someone was plugging a guitar into an amp and getting that feedback noise, amplified to an ear-splitting volume, over...and over...and over. They do give you headphones but those do only so much. I found a lot of the work we've done in meditation to be incredibly useful. Good luck!
Love these photos -- you look so happy to be alive. <3
